Neil T Hart BSc. (Hons) FRICS

Group Managing Director

Neil joined Bradley Hall in 2000 and became Managing Director is 2015. Neil has a reputable background in property services and has been responsible for an extensive range of commercial properties for a large client base in Newcastle. He has forged a strong reputation as one of Newcastle’s most dynamic chartered surveyors and has developed excellent relationships with clients by delivering a first-class service. Neil has overseen the company as it has gone from strength to strength and has been responsible for the overall expansion of Bradley Hall’s service offerings and increases in staffing and office locations.

Peter F Bartley BSc. (Hons) MRICS

Group Director

Since joining the firm 20 years ago, Peter has become a senior director of Bradley Hall and its group companies.

Peter is an expert in both residential and commercial property matters, and has spent many years heading up residential operations with a particular specialism in high value, luxury residential property matters.

Within his role Peter has also acted in the sale/purchase of a number of residential and commercial land deals, commercial/residential investment opportunities as well as more recently the acquisition and disposal of retail and leisure properties. He has played a part in a range of major and celebrated projects across the region.

Geoff Davis BA. (Hons) FCA

Finance Director

Geoff is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and joined Bradley Hall in March 2010. A highly motivated and experienced accountant, he specialises in property and previously enjoyed a 22-year career at Grainger plc, the listed residential landlord, where he was company secretary before progressing to head of finance.
In his current role Geoff is responsible for all aspects of finance and provides key services to clients including the production of service charge accounts and cash flow budgeting.

Richard Rafique BSc. (Hons) MRICS


Richard was appointed by Bradley Hall in 2014 to strengthen the commercial team at the Grey Street office. He has extensive experience of multiple disciplines within the profession, which has enabled him to provide expert advice on a broad range of issues including property management and valuations. Richard is a highly proactive agent and works closely with clients to acquire and dispose of premises in accordance with their requirements. As an RICS registered valuer, he provides valuation advice for several financial institutions and pension schemes.

Catherine Affleck BSc (Hons) MRICS

Ops. Director & Head of Property Management

Catherine joined Bradley Hall 13 years ago. She has a first class honours degree in Estate Management. In 2017 she was promoted to Operations Director. In her current role, Catherine reports to the Board of Directors and oversees day to day activities to ensure the smooth running and efficiency of the organisation at the direction of the Group Managing Director. Catherine is Head of Property Management and continues to lead and oversee the growing property management department, dealing with service charge management and landlord and tenant matters.

Tim Aisbitt BSc (Hons) MRICS

Head of Agency

Tim specialises in agency, commercial development and investment work. A qualified chartered surveyor and RICS registered valuer, Tim acts for a number of national and local retailers advising on new stores and also acts for developers, investors and land owners across the region advising on acquisition, disposal and development advice.

Tim graduated from Northumbria University with an Estate Management degree with first class honours in June 2011. Tim became Associate Director of Bradley Hall in November 2015.

Henry Scott BSc (Hons) MRICS

Head of Building Surveying

Henry joined Bradley Hall in 2017 and is the head of the Building Surveying department. Henry is based at our Newcastle office and has established the building surveying service since joining the firm. Henry specialises in building surveying services which include, but are not limited to, project management, building design, contract administration of commercial refurbishment projects, pre-acquisition surveys and dilapidation negotiations. Henry has 10 years of experience in the industry and is keen to further expand our services, meeting our clients’ needs and attracting new business opportunities along the way.

Jonathan Rudge BA (Hons) MSc MRICS

Head of Land and Development

Jonathan, a former partner at international consultancy Cushman and Wakefield, will oversee all of Bradley Hall’s strategic and site-specific development advice to occupiers, investors, developers and public policy makers.

His appointment will also see the launch of the company’s land, development & new homes department which has been introduced to continue and grow the firm’s ability to provide specialist advisory services to property developers and house builders of all sizes.

Chis has joined BH Group as a planning director for BH Planning and Design. BH Planning and Design launched in 2017 and offers bespoke planning and design services across the north east.

Chris is an experienced chartered planning and development surveyor and specialises in a variety of sectors which include planning appeals, expert witness, project management, development appraisals, public and professional consultation, portfolio maximisation and more.

Corporate Client Director

Nicola joins the team as corporate client director following building a successful career at Knight Frank, Sanderson Young and Grainger PLC.
Her role will include further developing the new homes department by building Bradley Hall’s relationships with both national and local developers. Supporting the firm’s field to finish approach, Nicola will work closely with both the land and development and residential teams to provide a comprehensive service to all clients.

Jordan Bowler BSc (Hons)

Office Manager and PA to Managing Director

Jordan joined Bradley Hall in 2015 and has recently been promoted to Office Manager. Jordan works closely with surveyors and directors and is an integral part of the agency process. Her role also includes the production of specialist marketing materials and assisting with other projects. Jordan is also the PA to Managing Director, Neil Hart, supporting him in a range of tasks which ensure the smooth running of the business.

Carl O'Brien BSc (Hons) MRICS

Senior Surveyor and Registered Valuer

Carl O’Brien is employed in a Senior Surveyor capacity primarily focusing on Commercial Landlord & Tenant matters including Rent Reviews and Lease Renewals and is equally comfortable acting on behalf of landlords or tenants. Being an RICS accredited Registered Valuer Carl also assists in the preparation and undertaking of valuations for a vast variety of clients and purposes. Additionally Carl has previous experience working as a Commercial Property Agent and as such has a broad range of experience in the local market. Carl graduated in Estate Management from Northumbria University in 2010 and achieved his Chartered status in October 2013.

Rachel joined the team in 2017 working predominantly within the Property Management team. Rachel has over 10 years of experience in the property industry and graduated from Northumbria University with a degree in Estate Management. Rachel oversees the day-to-day running of a portfolio of commercial properties for a number of key clients. As a RICS accredited Registered Valuer Rachel also undertakes valuations and provides advice to clients for a range of valuation purposes.

Nick joined Bradley Hall in May 2014 on a placement year through Northumbria University, Nick completed his degree in Estate Management in 2016. A key member of Bradley Hall’s property management department, Joseph oversees the day-to-day running of the company’s commercial and residential property portfolio across County Durham. He is also responsible for managing and letting student properties across Durham and holds the enviable record of successfully letting every property under his management. Joseph joined the company after graduating from Northumbria University with an Estate Management degree (2:1).

Laura began her Bradley Hall career in June 2011 when she joined the firm’s Grey Street office as an administration assistant. Cassie provides key PR support and works closely with our Marketing Manager to ensure integrated communications campaigns for all services across the group.
She identifies PR opportunities and produces press releases and editorial copy, oversees advertising and editorial opportunities for both the business and our clients, liaises with the media on a daily basis, organises events and undertakes social media activity.

Paul is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy, Paul worked within the public sector for 23 years and moved into the private sector in 2012 during which time he was the Director of Finance and oversaw the financial management of a large business growth strategy. In his current role Paul supports the Finance Director in all aspects of finance and provides key services to clients including the production of service charge accounts and cash flow budgeting.

Paul joined Bradley Hall in 2017 as an Accounts Clerk and was quickly promoted to Accounts Manager. Paul is responsible for Property Management accounting, purchase and sales ledger administration, bank reconciliations as well as purchase ordering, producing fee invoices and client/tenant statements. Paul also assists with handling incoming accounts enquiries.

Thomas joins the team as a purchase ledger clerk, and will provide support to the department including office (Sage) bookkeeping, including processing of purchase orders and invoices, Sage sales invoice production and assisting with credit control.
