Finance firm expansion leads to office move

Gale and Phillipson is celebrating company expansion and a new Newcastle city centre

22/09/2017

Leading financial planning and investment firm Gale and Phillipson is celebrating company expansion and a new Newcastle city centre office location.

The company relocated to offices within 18-24 Grey Street to meet an impressive growth in staff numbers and to further cement its presence in Newcastle city centre.

The building was recently refurbished following a multi-million pound purchase by Stessa Commercial, a North East investment company operated by Utilitywise founder and former chief operating officer Adam Thompson.

Phil Morris, director of distribution for Gale and Phillipson said: “The Grey Street offices were ideal for Gale and Phillipson as they provided excellent facilities for client meetings and allowed us more room for our expanding team within the city centre.

“We have experienced rapid growth over the past two years, and look forward to further expansion as we continue to work on acquisitions across the UK.”

Leading North East chartered surveyors Bradley Hall market and manage the building on 18-24 Grey Street. Surveyor Nicholas Bramwell said: “This is a fantastic office in the centre of Newcastle. Thanks to the investment and refurbishment the landlord has created a very attractive office space for prospective tenants.

“The office perfectly met the requirements of Gale and Phillipson and allowed them the extra space needed to meet its impressive expansion.”

Gale and Phillipson is an independent whole-of-market financial planning and investment management firm, offering services to personal, corporate and trustee clients across offices in Northallerton, Richmond and London.

Services include comprehensive and focused financial planning, a whole-of-market discretionary cash management service, a discretionary multi-asset investment management service and advisory investment management, which are designed to meet both simple and complex client needs.

Paul Bain, wealth planning adviser for Gale and Phillipson said: “We look forward to building our business from our new prestigious Grey Street office location and are keen to work with local professional organisations within the area.”
